Chair:
The Chair will either convene meetings (primarily on-line), and preside over them or arrange for the Vice Chair to do so, and also organize any voting that is needed. Represents the board in dealing with other organizations. For organizations which only allow one representative, or when no Human Relations Facilitator is in office, represents EARTHWARD as a whole.
Vice Chair:
The Vice Chair will preside over meetings that the Chair cannot attend, and create and chair Special Committees.
Secretary:
The Secretary will keep records of Board actions, take minutes on (record a log of) meetings, send out meeting announcements, distribute copies of minutes and the agenda to Board members and maintain all organization records.
Treasurer:
The Treasurer will manage the budget, and make the organization's financial information available to Board members and the public.
Council Director:
The Council Director keeps tabs on the activities of the Ordinary Committees, can start new ones with board approval.
Committee Heads:
The activities of each Ordinary Committee are coordinated by a Committee Head.
Human Relations Facilitator:
Handles internal communications, as deemed appropriate. Represents committee members in dealing with other (affiliated) organizations which allow more than one representative.
