This family of seven, is on the verge of starvation RIGHT NOW! (August 13, 2010)  Your help is desperately needed.  Please read on.
Desperate Family!
The family has been suffering a meager existence for a number of years, through no fault of their own, and have survived extreme hardships through their own resourcefulness, with help from EARTHWARD and its donors, and local friends.  This is one of those times of extreme hardship.  They are completely out of food, and have no money to buy any.  Also one of the children is ill and urgently needs medication.  EARTHWARD's resources have suffered greatly from the dismal state of the economy, and at present, we have no funds available to help them.  ANY amount you can possibly donate NOW, will be rushed to their aid, and may well save lives.  Please help if you can!  You can read more details about this family's ongoing struggle for survival here (click).

What is EARTHWARD?  For a more precise definition of who we are and what we do, please see our Mission Statement.  But to know us in less formal terms, please read on.  EARTHWARD is basically an organization of peace activists.  We fully recognize that world peace is a goal that will not likely be achieved in our lifetimes.  Still, we feel that if we, and others, do not pursue it, it will ~never~ be achieved.

Motivations for violence are numerous, and we do not pretend to address them all.  Recognizing that our numbers are few, we choose to focus only on that which we see as most prevalent; religion.  We welcome all, with or without faith, to peruse our website.  And we hope that, whether or not you agree with what we do, you at least understand why we do it.
